Forgive Us Our Sins

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.

1 John 1:8-10

Observation

• Man's way is to conceal sin and be in bondage
• God's way is to confess sin and be free.
• Next time condemnation comes knocking, let forgiveness answer.

Prayer
Gracious Father, I confess my sin and failure today. I give you my brokenness and weakness. I thank you for your forgiveness and freedom. I will live in the security and strength of my relationship with you. I will walk in newness of life and be an overcomer. In Jesus' name, amen!
