Women Who Lead

A conference for women in ministry.

Women Who Lead is a safe place for pastors’ wives, credentialed women ministers, missionary wives, and those in ministry at the local church to be renewed, resourced, and build relationships with others just like you.

By providing support and tools, we encourage you to grow in your calling and partner with other women here to support and encourage you.

When women are strengthened, our families and churches are strengthened, and the ministry of the gospel is strengthened. We all need a place that is real and honest.  We struggle with isolation, yet we long for community. At the Women Who Lead Conference, you will find a community that understands you.  You can count on us to speak truth and life into your journey.

We see the whole you in your vast and complex roles. Your leadership and story are powerful. We want you to be emotionally, physically, and spiritually refreshed for the sake of the Gospel.

Featured Guest

Laurie Hoyt

Laurie is a wife, mother, nana, ordained pastor, and frequent conference speaker with a passion to see people walk in their purpose and discover freedom. Through her transparent and down-to-earth style, she communicates a message of hope and truth in the midst of painful circumstances—a message which resonates with young and old alike. You will be challenged and encouraged!

In the year 2000, the landscape of her life was radically changed when her husband, Gary was involved in a tragic automobile accident which left Gary paralyzed from the armpits down. What could have embittered them in their marriage, family, ministry or relationship with God has proven to make Laurie and Gary stronger. Unashamedly, Laurie shares her struggles to adjust to a life she had not planned or chosen.

Today, Laurie and Gary live in the Bay Area of northern California. Their Daughter, Anna and husband Jonathan and their 3 children live nearby. Their son, Danny and wife Blair live in Dallas, Texas. The Hoyts have now been married for over 43 years and enjoy travel, new adventures, great coffee, spending time with the grands and serving in their local church.
