My dear brothers, take note of this:
Everyone should be quick to listen,
slow to speak and slow to become angry,for man’s anger does not bring about
the righteous life that God desires.
Observation
• The practice of listening before speaking is a sign of maturity.
• Choose your words wisely; you can speak life into others.
• Learn to respond graciously not react angrily.
Prayer
I thank you again for your convicting and correcting words.
I am reminded on the continued work you are doing in my life.
Help me be a person of faith and action.
Help me to practice listening before speaking.
I pray that you will help me control my emotions.
