The Holy Spirit

The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said, "Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have."

Acts 10:45-47

Observation

1. God reaches those who want to know Him.
2. You will meet people this today that are eager to believe.
3. Be open to the full work of the Holy Spirit in your life.

Prayer

Father, I thank you for opening my eyes to see who Jesus really is. I will live by your Word and not by my feelings. I want a know-so life and not a hope-so life. I want to face the day with confidence and courage. I want to walk in truth and victory. So, Lord, I ask that you guide my decisions. Give me peace and assurance...insight, wisdom, and understanding. In Jesus’ name!
