Don't Be Afraid

A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough. When they had rowed three or four miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were terrified. But he said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.” Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading.

John 6:18-21

• In life, you experience various kinds of storms.
• Jesus is not limited by natural laws but operates in the supernatural.
• Don’t live in fear. Live in faith and see what great things Jesus will do.

TODAY'S PRAYER

Almighty God, you rule over the winds and waves of life. You calm troubled hearts and bring peace during the storms. As I face the day, I look to you for peace and assurance. I rely upon your mighty power to keep me safe and secure. I pray for my family and friends who are faced with uncertain situations. Do a mighty work on their behalf and calm their troubled hearts.
