Their Eyes Were Opened

When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”

• In times of uncertainty and fear, turn to God’s Word.
• Remember Jesus wants to walk with you and talk with you.
• Allow God’s Spirit to open your eyes to who He is and what He wants to do in you.

TODAY'S PRAYER

Father, I come to you today and thank you for your presence and power.
I thank you that you have never given up on me.
Open my eyes to what you are doing, as I open my heart to you.
Help me to see and sense your mighty power in and through my life.
