Get Up And Pray

When he rose from prayer and went back to the disciples, he found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow.
Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.”

Luke 22:45-46

• Be alert to the various kinds of temptations of the enemy.
• Prayer is your first step in dealing with temptation.
• Build yourself up by praying in the Spirit.

TODAY'S PRAYER

Father, help me to stand firm and strong against the temptations that come my way. Help me to grow in the areas where I’m weak and stay strong in the areas I’m confident. I will choose to be victorious and not defeated. I will choose to not give up or give in to discouragement or frustration. Thank you for giving me peace, joy, and victory.
