New Wine

He told them this parable: “No one tears a piece out of a new garment to patch an old one. Otherwise, they will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins.

Luke 5:36-38

OBSERVATIONS

1. Always make room for the fresh touch of the Holy Spirit in your life.
2. Keep your mind open to God’s fresh ideas and fresh methods.
3. Avoid becoming rigid rather than righteous.

TODAY'S PRAYER

Father, I praise you today for a fresh move of the Holy Spirit in my life. I thank you that you are doing new things and providing me with new insights. I pray for a fresh wind to blow in my life. I pray for a fresh fire to burn in my heart. I pray for a fresh anointing to rest upon my words. I pray for a fresh word to direct my way. Help me to not develop a religious spirit, but display
a righteous spirit.
