Be Merciful

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Luke 6:35-36

1. Love is to be an action word for the believer.
2. You will have an opportunity to love those who are not easy to love.
3. Demonstrating mercy to others reflects what God has done for you.

TODAY'S PRAYER

Father, I thank you for extending to me grace and mercy. Please search my heart today. Help me detect anything that blocks your smile on my life. Help me show love, grace and mercy to others. I pray for those who have spoken ill of me, been unkind or hurtful. Overwhelm them with your love today. Give me the courage to do the things that honor you.
