When You Pray

He said to them, “Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don’t you put it on its stand? For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear.” One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” He said to them, “When you pray, say: “‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.’”

Luke 11:1-4

2. Make your prayers personal, bold, and persistent.
3. Be confident in your prayers, because God’s provision is daily.

TODAY'S PRAYER

Heavenly Father, I praise your name. You are my provider, my healer, my strength, and my protector. Today, I bring my needs to you and believe that you will meet them. I will face the day with confidence and assurance. Help me to remain strong and help me to do the right things at the right times.
