Don't Look Back

Still another said, “I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say good-by to my family.” Jesus replied, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”

Luke 9:61-62

OBSERVATIONS

1. Don’t just be a fan of Jesus, be a follower of Jesus.
2. Be ready to serve even if it requires sacrifice.
3. Keep looking forward in faith; God has greater things in store.

TODAY'S PRAYER

Gracious Father, I thank you for the call you have placed on my life. I refuse to be distracted and derailed. I will follow your lead and respond to your directions. I give you my all. Help me look forward in faith. Make me a blessing to those I meet today.
