You Will Live

On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?” He answered: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”

Luke 10:25-28

OBSERVATIONS

1. Loving God is to be our first priority.
2. Look for ways to demonstrate genuine love to others.
3. Be a doer of the Word and not just a hearer only.

TODAY'S PRAYER

Gracious Father, I come once again and declare my love for you. I praise you for who you are and what you have done for me. Today, I pray that you will help me to live out my faith in practical ways. Help me to go public with my love for you and not hesitate to speak. Help me to be genuine, generous and grateful with others. May your will be done in my life!
