Whoever Loses His Life

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

Mark 8:35-37

OBSERVATIONS

  1. Jesus calls us to fully surrender our lives to him.
  2. Remember that nothing compares to what we gain in Christ.
  3. Follow Jesus and you will experience a life of abundance.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Gracious Father, take my life and let it be consecrated Lord to Thee. Take my words and my actions; use them for your glory. I desire that my life will fulfill your purpose and mission. I pray that the days ahead will be empowered and purposeful. I continue to believe you for direction, wisdom, and favor in all that I do.

Amen! Amen! Amen!
