Get Some Rest

The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught. Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”

Mark 6:30-32

1. Being active in the work of the Lord is one of the most rewarding life experiences.
2. Getting alone with the Lord better equips you for service and success.
3. Scheduling times of personal rest and renewal are vital to effectiveness and health.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Father, I praise You for the opportunities to serve You in ministry. Thank You, for giving me this amazing and incredible life. I pause today to ask that You will renew my strength and refresh my spirit. I believe that You have good things in store for my future and I want to be ready.

I will praise You now and forever for all that
You have done and are going to do.
