The Son of God

When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened,
they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”

Matthew 27:54

Observations

1. Jesus was more than a good man or prophet; he was God who came in the flesh. 
2. Often times it will take the dramatic to get our attention.
3. A sincere confession is necessary for a spiritual conversion.

Today's Prayer

I thank you for making a way for my redemption and my future.

Today, I again will confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Savior and Lord.
I pray that my behavior will line up with my beliefs.
I pray that my decisions today will reflect Your love and compassion.

I pray for my family and friends who have not confessed you as Lord.
Continue to work in their lives. Help me to be a shining light for them.
