Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Matthew 20:25-28

1. God has given you opportunities to honor Him and bless others.
2. Servant leadership appreciates others and looks for ways to serve them.
3. Take the initiative today to find a need and fill it.

Today's Prayer

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the many people that have stepped up and served me.
Thank you for my parents, family and friends who have extended to me love and care.

Help me today to show compassion to someone.
Help me to speak life and encouragement to others.
Direct my words and order my footsteps.

In Jesus, name! Amen!
