The Word of God

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

Matthew 4:1-4

Observations

1. Stay alert to the lies of the enemy.
2. Your greatest offensive weapon is the Word of God.
3. To remain spiritually and emotionally strong, meditate on God's Word.

Today's Prayer

Wonderful Father, I thank you for your Word that is a light to my path.
I praise you for sustaining me by your Word and
giving me answers to my questions.

I thank you for those you have used to teach me Your Word.
Bless their lives today.

Today, I will stand against the deceit and lies of the enemy of my life.
I will claim your promises, confess your protection, and continue in your peace.
In Jesus’ mighty name, amen!
