All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” which means “God with us.”
Matthew 1:22-23
1. Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies given about his first coming.
2. Remember, Jesus has stepped into your world and understands everything you face.
3. You are not alone; Christ is present today in the life of every believer.
Heavenly Father, I thank you for stepping into my world
to redeem and save me.
Thank you that I am not facing life alone, but you are with me.
When things happen that would normally bother me,
get me down or discouraged,
help me to put my foot down and say,
“I’m not going to let my joy or peace be taken.”
Help me to remain victorious and vigilant.
In the mighty and wonderful name of Jesus!
