New Things

This is what the LORD says—
he who made a way through the sea,
a path through the mighty waters,
who drew out the chariots and horses,
the army and reinforcements together,
and they lay there, never to rise again,
extinguished, snuffed out like a wick:

“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert
and streams in the wasteland."

Isaiah 43:16-19

Observations

1. Avoid getting stuck in your past.
2. Anticipate God to do new things in and through your life.
3. Remember God will make a way when there seems to be no way.

Prayer

Father, your mercies are new every morning.
I rejoice in what you have done and I look forward to what you are going to do.

I pray today that you will help me continue to move forward in faith.
I pray that you will take me into a new season of favor and fulfillment.

I will look ahead with expectation and hope in the days ahead.
I give you praise.
