Not Afraid

Surely God is my salvation;
I will trust and not be afraid.

The LORD, the LORD himself,
is my strength and my song;
he has become my salvation.”
With joy you will draw water
from the wells of salvation.

In that day you will say:
“Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name;
make known among the nations what he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.

Isaiah 12:2-4

Observations

1. The best way to defeat fear is to fully trust in the Lord.
2. Express your gratitude by verbally thanking God for His goodness.
3. Keep singing; it is a powerful testimony to others.

Prayer

Gracious Father, I give you praise and thanksgiving for all you have done.
You are my salvation and my song.
You lift me up when I am down.
You make a way when there seems to be no way.

I will not be afraid of my circumstances, but put my trust in you.
I will face the day knowing your joy will give me strength.

Great are you, God!
