Train a Child

Humility and the fear of the LORD
bring wealth and honor and life.

In the paths of the wicked lie thorns and snares,
but he who guards his soul stays far from them.

Train a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not turn from it.

Proverbs 22:4-6

1. Train your children to choose the right way by living a life of integrity.
2. Modeling your faith is one of the most powerful forms of instruction.
3. Be thankful for those who have invested in your life by their example.

Prayer

Father, I want to thank you for my parents and the investment they made in my life. I thank you that they lived out their faith and prayed for me to live a life that honors you.

I pray that my life will be a shining example of integrity and commitment. May I pass on an authentic faith to the next generations to come.
