A Pure Heart

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Psalm 51:10-12

Determine to please God before you please yourself.
Always remember that God longs for you to be close to Him.
Allow God to create in you a pure heart and a renewed spirit.

Today's Prayer

Gracious Father, I come to you and confess my desperate need for you. Create in me a pure heart and steadfast spirit. Help me to filter out anything that would deplete me of your joy. May this day be a day of spiritual refreshing and increased joy. I will declare your victory. I will confess your blessing. I will proclaim your goodness. I will believe you for favor and success. In Jesus’ name, amen! Amen!
