Doing What is Right

Bill Wilson
 •

Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years. His mother's name was Jedidah daughter of Adaiah; she was from Bozkath. He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD and walked in all the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left.

2 Kings 22:1-2

Observation
1. No one is ever too young to take God's call seriously.
2. What you do today will help you fulfill God's plan tomorrow.
3. Delays don't mean denials when you are obedient to God.

Prayer
Father, I thank you for your call on my life and the heritage that I have. Thank you for leading my steps as a child, youth and now as an adult. Help me to see with my "spiritual" eyes, not just what currently exists, but those things that can become realities in my life. Help me to do what is right in your eyes. I long to see even greater results of my obedience in and through my family.
In Jesus' name, amen!
