Serve the Lord

Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.

• You will be faced with the choice of whom or what will rule your life decisions.
• Regardless of what others decide, you can choose to serve the Lord.
• The way we live shows others the strength of our commitment to God.

Prayer
Father, today I choose to serve you without reservation. I will go where you want me to go and do what you want me to do. I ask for wisdom, understanding and strength to live life to the full. I pray that my life will be a beacon of life and light to others. I intercede for family and friends and ask that they will be fully devoted to you. I love you, Lord! Amen! Amen! Amen!
