Fear Not

Fall, what a beautiful time of the year. We are all beginning to realize we have to get our warmer clothes out. These are the days when you just want take time to sit on the coach, get a hot cup of tea, and a warm blanket and read. Many of you say, “I only wish I could do this,” or some of you may say, “You have no idea what I’m facing or going through.”
Let me share this verse with you:
For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” – Isaiah 41:13 (NIV)

Isn’t this a reassuring verse? I love how The Message puts it:
“…That's right. Because I, your God, have a firm grip on you ... Don't panic. I'm right here to help you.”

No matter what you are going through God is saying to you, “Don’t panic,” He’s right here waiting to help you. So many times when going through the good and the bad of life we forget where God is. Sometimes we think we have to figure everything out on our own and He says don’t panic! In other words spend some time with me, come sit with your cup of tea, read my Word, let me help you.
Often as we listen, He gives us a thought, an idea but we have to take time to listen. He’s giving us hope. He’s saying trust me, watch me provide for you, don’t panic, I will help you through the most difficult times. What a reassurance we all have. He’s holding our hand, saying fear not, don’t let fear overwhelm you, I’m right here to help you.
What a wonderful verse to remember. We can rejoice knowing we are never alone. He’s ALWAYS there for us. No matter what your circumstances are today, hang onto this verse!
