Children of God

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

1 John 3:1-2

• Your worth and value is based on the fact that God loves you.
• You are a child of God with promise, possibility and privilege.
• The best is always yet to come for the child of God.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank you for loving me and calling me your own. I am grateful to be your child and want to live my life to honor you. So, today I ask that you help me to have victory over temptations. I ask that you help me to love others as you love them. I ask that you help me to live with confidence and assurance. Keep me and guide me. Amen! Amen! Amen!
