Stand Firm

So then, brothers, stand firm
and hold to the teachings we passed on to you,
whether by word of mouth or by letter.

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father,
who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope,
encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

Observation
• Hold on to the truth that you have been taught from God's Word.
• Never forget the reality of Christ's life and love.
• You can choose to stand firm or fall flat.

Prayer
Almighty God, I am encouraged and excited
about your continue work in my life.

Today, I choose to stand firm in the faith.
I refuse to be distracted by temptation.
I refuse to be discouraged by tough times.
I refuse to be defeated by trail or testing.

Help me to face the day with strength and wisdom.
