Jars of Clay

But we have this treasure in jars of clay
to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed,
but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned;
struck down, but not destroyed.

Observation
• Rejoice! God is at work on your behalf.

• You are a valuable vessel of God on display.

• No matter what comes your way, be an overcomer in Christ.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank you for continuing to shape and strengthen me.
I thank you for making me a treasured container of your peace and power.

Lord, I ask that you will help me face the day in a spirit of assurance.
Help me remember not matter what comes my way, you are still in control.
