2010 Kids Camps Reviews
Last week we finished our final Kids Camp for the summer. This concluded six Next Generation Camps for 2010. Here are a few things some of our campers said about Kids Camps: One wrote, “It was my first time at camp and I loved it” A boy said, “I was able to make new friends and hangout.” One girl added, “I loved when we worshipped because I could just lift my hands up and worship with all my heart!” finally one camper said, “Root beer floats were nice.”
Our primary purpose for camps is to provide an atmosphere and an opportunity for campers to have a first-hand encounter with God and His church through recreation, camper interaction, worship, Bible teaching, and response to God. This took place at each camp. We were able to see many campers saved for the first time, other recommit their hearts to God. Students were filled with the Holy Spirit, healed and called into ministry. It has been a long summer, but the transforming power of God makes it all worth it. Let’s keep pushing on this fall for God.
