The Lord Knows How to Rescue

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:8-9

Observation

• God's timing is perfect.
• Remember God's delays are not always His denials.
• The heart of God is that no one should live in sin's bondage and destruction.

Prayer
Father, I thank you for your truthfulness and faithfulness. Your timing is perfect and your promises are sure. I trust in you, Lord, and I am standing on your promises. You are my hope, help and healing. I pray for those in my life that have not yet surrendered to you. Help me be an appealing witness and a loving example. I pray for their salvation. In Jesus' name, amen!
