Run With Perseverance

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,
let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.

And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.

For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame,
and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners,
so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Observation
• Be thankful for the examples of faith in your life.
• Be willing to release those things that will discourage, distract or derail you.
• Keep your eyes on Jesus; He has sweet victories ahead for you.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the race that you have set before me.
I am grateful for the many examples and cheerleaders of faith in my life.

Help me stay fixed, focused and faithful today.
Help me to not give up or give in to feelings or actions that will take me off course.

I pray that I will be an inspiration and encouragement to others.
