He Gives Us the Victory

But thanks be to God!
He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you.
Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord,
because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Observation
• In Christ we are victors not victims.

• You are called to stand up in a shaky world.

• Know what you do for the Lord has eternal results.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank you that I am not a victim of life but a victor in life.
I am grateful that I have something to stand up for.

Today, I pray that you will help me keep faithful to your call.
I will refuse to give up or give in to discouragement.
I will press on with the assurance that you are going before me.
