Hosting a Super Bowl Party? Here's a few tips.

Chips & Dip? Check. Wings? Check. Friends? Check. Permission from the NFL? Check...?
The Super Bowl can be a great opportunity for your church to reach out to friends and neighbors. It’s also a great way to build community, but it can be a little confusing knowing how to legally promote and host a party at your church. Thankfully, in recent years the NFL has given interviews with guidance churches can use in navigating copyright issues related to these questions.
Here’s a few tips from David Middlebrook at Church Law & Tax:
• Don’t rent any equipment.• Show the game live in your facility only.• Don’t charge admission.• Be careful about your promotions.
