It’s hard to believe, but we are preparing once again to send students and churches on a 9 month long mission’s trip to your local schools, and we want to help get you there. Our Schools Matter is a national initiative to make Jesus known through the most strategic entity in every community – the local school. Last year, several thousand joined the effort across our nation, and we are looking for thousands of more to join us this year.

Our Schools Matter is set to launch at the end of July with resources for the local lead Pastors, Churches, Youth workers and students. We’re asking Lead Pastors and churches to have a conversation with your local school officials to learn what their needs are and to serve their local schools. For the Youth worker, there is a 5 week of emphasis for your youth ministry to mobilize your students to start a conversation to share the Gospel. Lastly, for the students, there are practical helps to pray for their school and friends and to start a conversation to make Jesus known.

There is a free full kit of downloadable resources available on our national webpage: yausa.com/ourschoolsmatter
